Red House Seafood is a culturally rich restaurant which encompasses not only Chinese cuisines of Cantonese, Fujian and Hainan origins, but also local flavours from the Malay, Indian and Peranakan heritage. It was established in 1976 and brands itself on its ability to blend fresh seafood with Asian flavours, while doing so sustainably through sourcing ingredients from sustainable suppliers. Today, Red House Seafood still sells traditional dishes, but it also sells innovative trendy dishes such as its Truffle Wild Mushroom Dumpling.

Red House Seafood sources its seafood from global suppliers that ship seafood from the North Sea, Indian Ocean and Oceania region to Red House Seafood. The orgin of the seafood include Tasmania, Australia, Sri Lanka, British Isles, Malaysia and more!


Menu Selection

Red House Seafood’s menu consists of 3 main parts which are the ala carte, corporate and promotion sections. It offers exclusive beverages to certain outlets and it has a dim sum buffet option at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and Prinsep Street outlets. There are also vegetarian options available for all outlets. 

Apart from dim sum menus, Red House Seafood also offers daily lunch and dinner set meals that cater between 2 to 6 people, which offers rice or noodles and several dishes such as the Spicy Seafood Combination and Lobster in Signature Creamy Custard Sauce.

Its exclusive beverages include non-alcoholic drinks such as homemade juices and teas as well as Lychee Green Tea, Citrus Yuzu and Tangerine Fizz mocktails. The alcoholic drinks range from beers to cocktail and even hard liquor and wines.


Dim Sum Buffet

Red House Seafood offers up to 45 dishes in its daily ala carte dim sum lunch buffet menu, which features free-flow servings of dim sum, congee and its specialties such as the salted egg calamari and crispy prawn with mango dressing. 

The lunch buffet starts at 12pm and ends at 2.30 pm, with the last order at 2pm daily. Adults can enjoy the lunch buffet starting from $23.80++ on weekdays and $28.80++ on weekends while children dine at $11.80++ on weekdays and $13.80++ on weekends. 

Red House Seafood recommends its customers to try out the Truffle Wild Mushroom Dumpling, Crispy Custard Bun and Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce as starters to their buffet meal. You can also enjoy free flow of jasmine green tea with your meal!


Corporate Set Menu

Red House Seafood also offers set menus for business meals catering for 2 to 10 diners. The set meals are split into all day set sets, business lunch sets and business dinner sets. All sets apart from Dinner Set E come with a Red House Chef’s Selection Platter and various types of seafood dishes such as the Creamy Custard Lobster which is one of the signature dishes at Red House Seafood. 

Prices for the corporate set meals start from $108++ per person for the all-day set meal that caters to 2 people. Dinner Set E which caters between 8 to 10 people is priced at $1,298++. All prices are before service charge and prevailing government taxes.


Seasonal Promotional Menus

Red House Seafood is currently offering a 20% off dining in Ala Carte dishes when you dine in or takeaway from the restaurant. The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel outlet is also offering free delivery for orders above $120 on the Ala Carte menu, excluding promotional items.

There is also a promotion of 60% off live Alaskan King Crabs which Red House Seafood claims as “firm, succulent & refined” and the “sweetest of all king crabs”. The Alaskan King Crabs are currently priced at $98++ per kilogram (U.P.$248).

Awards and Ratings

Many customers who have dined at Red House Seafood reviewed that the seafood was fresh and the dishes were delectable. One regular customer reviewed on Facebook that he “has been to Red House for many years now ever since I (he) was small”. He praised Red House Seafood for the great food and commented that the Alaskan King Crab was “fantastic”. Another customer commented on Facebook that the serving portion was generous and that she “love(s) the sweet & sour jumbo pawns”.

One customer commented that the service staff were attentive and refilled her table’s teacups almost immediately when needed. When she expressed her concern that the chilli crab might be too spicy for her, the service staff even went the extra mile to recommend her other types of crabs that were more suitable for her.

The interior design of Red House Seafood’s outlet at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel is grand, classy yet cosy with several private rooms that diners can choose to dine in with privacy. The outlet at Prinsep Street has a slightly different vibe that brings a more homely and local feel.
